Most SMEs don't have an AI problem. They have a translation problem.
You know AI could mean something for your business. But what, how, and in what order? That's exactly where we start. With a strategy that begins at your business goals, and a first use case that proves what AI actually delivers for you.
- Fixed-price packages
- A real go/no-go at every gate
- Your team owns the result
THE OFFER
Two packages. One order.
Plainsight guides SMEs from scattered AI experiments to AI that moves the business: first an AI strategy with a concrete action plan, then your first ambitious use case built as a working, evaluated proof of concept. Fixed prices per package, honest go/no-go moments, and your team owns everything we leave behind.
Base package: AI strategy with an action plan
About ten days of our team
- 1
AI Readiness Scan
Where you stand today, across six dimensions: from strategy and data to governance and culture. The same scan we open every engagement with. How the scan works →
- 2
AI strategy and operating model
Choices that start from your business strategy, not from the technology. Signed off by your board, with clear roles.
- 3
Use cases, prioritized
The full AI spectrum in view, scored on value and feasibility. The scoring tool stays with you afterwards.
- 4
Roadmap with decision gates
A realistic action plan with explicit go/no-go moments, so you can steer at any point.
The result: you know what you'll build, why, and in what order.
Navigator package: your first ambitious use case, built
In three sizes: S, M and L
- 1
Blueprint before any code
Requirements, data, governance and process fit. A poorly defined use case costs double in the build.
- 2
A working proof of concept
Built in stages (crawl, walk, run), against success criteria agreed up front.
- 3
Your people on board
End users test from the first iteration. People who help build it, own it.
- 4
Evaluation and handover
A substantiated go/no-go advice and a full handover package. Everything is and stays yours.
Which size fits follows from the scan and your use case. See below.
Every package has a fixed price, agreed before we start. Working from Flanders? We help SMEs find and access the right subsidy channels, like VLAIO.
THE SIZE
S, M or L? The scan decides.
Two things set the size, and both come out of the base package: how ready your organisation is (the AI readiness score) and how complex the chosen use case is. Company size plays along as nuance, not as the driver.
± 15 days of our team
The foundations are already there and the use case is manageable. Almost every day goes into the use case itself: fast proof of value.
± 28 days of our team
A heavier use case, or a few gaps from the scan. An integration-ready POC, plus foundations that the next use cases build on.
± 55 days of our team
An ambitious or agentic use case, or gaps across several pillars. The POC goes as far towards production as is responsible, and we help build the organisation itself: AI Lab, change track, governance.
The size is a direction, not a box. The scope is fixed per size; the content we tune to your situation.
HOW WE WORK
Crawl, walk, run.
Not a months-long sprint where you only find out at the end whether it works. Three stages, each with success criteria agreed up front and a real decision at the end.
Crawl
The first working version. AI proposes, a person validates every decision. This is where we test the core assumptions against reality.
Walk
The system runs in practice and actively makes suggestions. Trust grows at the pace the validation justifies.
Run
AI works independently on the happy path, people catch the exceptions. This is what you build towards, step by step.
Architecture first
Not a line of code before the foundation is right. Requirements and design are not paperwork, they are half the work.
A go/no-go is a real decision
Scale up, adjust or stop: every advice comes substantiated. Stopping early is budget you don't waste.
End users from day one
Adoption is a design discipline, not a communication campaign afterwards. The process owner owns the result from the start.
Everything stays yours
Scoring tool, roadmap, code, documentation and knowledge. After the handover you can carry on without us. That's the point.
WHO IT'S FOR
Who this works for
- You don't want to be late to the AI party, but have no idea where to start.
- You're an SME with a concrete business challenge, and management makes time for it.
- You want more than a loose plug-and-play tool, but no research project either.
- There's data that's usable, or can be made usable within the project.
- You want your own people to carry the result, not rent ours forever.
Not a fit? Then we'll say so, and point you to an instrument or partner that suits you better. A project that doesn't fit costs everyone money and helps no one.
PROOF
Don't take our word for it.
PGS Group, an international producer of wooden packaging, went from first AI explorations to use cases in production, an internal AI Lab, and their own AI Champions spotting new opportunities across the business.

Who guides you
Fixed faces per project, with over forty colleagues behind them. Strategy and build live under one roof here, so what's on paper is what gets built.

Frequently asked questions
What does an AI guidance track cost?
Every package has a fixed price, agreed before we start, so there are no surprises halfway. The base package covers about ten days of our team; the Navigator package comes in three sizes (S, M and L). Tell us where you stand and we'll tell you the price in one conversation.
Can subsidies help fund this?
Often, yes. For Flemish SMEs, VLAIO offers several instruments that can co-fund strategy and build work. We help you find and access the right channel as part of the intake.
Do I have to start with the base package?
Yes, and that's deliberate. The size of the follow-up (S, M or L) follows from two things the base package delivers: your AI readiness score and the complexity of the use case at the top of your priority list. Without that base, every build choice is a guess. Both packages can run as one continuous project.
How long does a track take?
The base package takes about ten days of our team, spread over a few weeks. The Navigator package runs from roughly 15 days (S) to 55 (L). We tune the pace to your organisation: short check-ins, no heavy project meetings.
What if the proof of concept disappoints?
Then we stop, and that's not a failure. Every stage ends with a real go/no-go decision against criteria we agreed up front. Stopping early is budget you don't waste on a dead end. You keep the strategy, the foundations and the knowledge either way.
Which technology do you work with?
Whatever the use case needs, not the other way around. We work closely with Microsoft, Databricks, Anthropic and OpenAI, among others, but we don't sell tools. What we build is yours: code, documentation and the knowledge to take it further yourself.
Will AI replace our people?
Not on our watch. We pick use cases that make your people better at their work, and we involve end users from day one. A system your team doesn't trust simply doesn't get used.
Ready to start?
Tell us where your business stands. We'll tell you honestly what AI can do there. And what it can't.
