Meet Esli
Esli has a background in applied informatics and several years of hands-on experience in data analytics. He specializes in Power BI and Azure, building reports and dashboards from requirements through to delivery. Colleagues know him as the person who quietly gets things done, usually with a padel racket in his bag.
We asked Esli some thoughtful questions
esli, how did you discover your passion for data?
I discovered my passion for data through a deep interest in its ability to bring about significant change. Observing how insights derived from data can influence and reshape not only individual behaviors but also corporate decision-making processes fascinated me immensely. The remarkable potential of data to initiate meaningful transformations, whether as a source of motivation in sports or as a catalyst for significant shifts in corporate strategy, has been a driving force behind my passion for this dynamic field. Additionally, my technical background has piqued my curiosity about the intricate setups and solutions that underlie the utilization of data, further fueling my enthusiasm for this exciting domain.
Why did you specifically choose Plainsight?
I decided to work for Plainsight because I have great confidence in my colleagues who started the company. They are not only skilled in their technical abilities but also really great people to work with. I also admire Plainsight's values and high standards. What further persuaded me to come on board was the opportunity to be part of this thrilling venture from the beginning. I am enthusiastic about observing the company's expansion and playing a role in Plainsight's path toward becoming a success story
If you could spend a day with any fictional character, who would it be and what would you do together?
If I had to make such a fun choice, my choice would undoubtedly be Luffy from the world of One Piece. This cheerful and spirited character is at the helm of a pirate crew where each member, despite their unique individual goals, comes together to pursue a greater collective goal: finding the “One Piece’. This camaraderie resonates with the way we work together in the world of data analytics, working toward a common goal while acknowledging our different interests in data. A day with Luffy promises nothing short of a grand celebration with epic festivities.
