14:00 - 14:30: Webinar - Beyond Pilots: Building an AI-capable organisation

14:30 - 14:45: Q&A

Abstract

AI isn’t a lab, a toolset or a side project. If you want real impact, it needs to be embedded in how your organisation operates, decides and learns.

Yet that’s exactly where many organisations get stuck. AI initiatives pop up everywhere, teams experiment in parallel, and value remains fragmented. The technology often works - alignment doesn’t.

In this session, we take a step back from tools and zoom in on AI as an organisational capability. Using a clear operating-model lens, we explore how AI can move from scattered initiatives to something that scales and sticks across the organisation.

We’ll cover:

  • AI as an embedded capability
Why AI only creates value when it’s part of everyday decisions, workflows and responsibilities - not when it lives in pilots or centres of excellence.

  • Shifting the operating model
What embedding AI really means in practice: vision and principles, roles and ownership, enablement, governance and knowledge sharing, and how these pieces fit together .

  • Different teams, different AI needs
How AI maturity and use cases vary across marketing, operations, sales, HR, finance and strategy - and why coordination is essential to avoid duplication, shadow IT or stalled value .

  • From scattered to strategic
A before/after view of organisations that move from overlapping experiments to shared frameworks, clear ownership and reusable patterns .

  • Where to start (without overengineering)
How to anchor AI in real business goals, define a small set of critical roles early, and adapt your operating model without writing a 50-page strategy document .

  • Change as a feature, not a phase
Why AI maturity is ultimately learning maturity, and how lightweight governance, short feedback loops and continuous adaptation make AI sustainable over time .

This webinar introduces a clear, practical framework. During the session, we’ll explain the concepts and patterns at a high level; in follow-up conversations or deeper engagements, we typically go much further into concrete designs, role definitions and adoption approaches tailored to your organisation.

After this session you'll...

  • leave with a shared language and structure to reason about AI beyond tooling - and a concrete next step for assessing how well AI is currently embedded in your organisation, and where to focus first.
