What we expect from you

Skills

  • Programming:

    Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language) is essential. Familiarity with SQL and optionally Python or R for data transformation, advanced analytics, or integration purposes.

  • Power BI Development:

    Extensive experience developing interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, including data visualization best practices, … and use of Power BI Service features like dataflows, shared datasets, and deployment pipelines.

  • Microsoft Fabric:

    Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including Lakehouses, Data Warehousing, Notebooks, Pipelines, and KQL-based Real-Time Analytics. Ability to navigate and integrate between OneLake and Fabric experiences.

  • Data Modeling:

    Strong skills in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and creating optimized semantic models in Power BI using Tabular Editor, calculation groups, perspectives, and role-level security.

  • Data Visualization, UI/UX

    Understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX best practices, with the ability to design clear, intuitive, and impactful dashboards that effectively communicate insights to diverse stakeholders. Skilled in creating visually appealing, user-friendly Power BI reports with thoughtful use of color, layout, interactivity, and accessibility. Experienced in tailoring visualizations to specific business needs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and optimizing for performance, usability, and mobile responsiveness.

  • ETL and Data Integration (optional):
    Experience with data ingestion and transformation using Power Query, Dataflows, and Fabric Pipelines. Knowledge of Data Factory (within Fabric or Azure) and integrating data from various sources including on-premises and cloud systems.
